does 60,000 powertrain warranty cover transmission and clutch? Okay here's hte problem... mis-shift from 4 to 2 crunched the gears. My car now shakes a lot like it's going to die and the gears grind when i put it into reverse and 1st gear needs to be pushed really hard to get it in. Guys need advice and help!!

good think i woke up early okay here is the deal a clutch is not covert because its an item that wears out in time so they dont cover it the good think is ur trani does covert so i think you should go to them and yeah hope you were not racing but most likely you was because if you was not racing you should of been doing wat 45 in 4th gear going down 2 2nd should of never hurt it that much if not racing but if you was then yeah i do have a hard time shifting to my gears wen i race i have to push really really hard on the stick to make it shift so i dont know im sure its the clutch but make sure you get it checked aiite bro hope things get better good luck

Clos, how much is a new cluch in case i have to get it replaced? I know trasmission is a lot right?

if i was you i would just go and get an after market one like fiensa and shit like that i got some pix ill post it in a min but like i said tranis are about 5k but it should be under waranty so you should not worry bout that

I doubt its your clutch--its the synchro mesh (gears) most likely. Tranny is not covered even if its a factory defect after 60,000. I know, been there.
