O K
1: is there any other way to mount the sides without putting them over the stocks?

2: do you really have to ruin your stock side skirts to mount your new ones? (drilling holes)

3:can you shave them down so they fit in closer to the side of the car?

4: and lastly how did your bumpers fit right out of the box?

1: Sure but they won't have the same rigidity. They'll be to flimsy and move around quite a bit.

2: no but the body shop would probably have to make custom brackets to hold the side skirt in place. Goes with #1

3: if you aren't using you stock sides than I don't see why not, back to the custom thing though, see #2

4: on a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being perfect my bodyshop told me 8.5 grin they just had to replace the stock plastic clips with some new metal type ones.

if you aren't going to use your stock side skirts expect to pay quite a bit for custom mounting.

why are you considering doing this because they fit extremely well over the stck sides confused

Well I had my stocks painted 2 years ago and they came out so nice I'd hate to ruin them.

And I didn't know they were gonna stick out so far (couldnt tell from pics). Also there not painted yet and checking them for fit they stuck out like a sore thumb.
Do you have a pic of yours?

And thx for the info Rice.

If you could I'd like to see how you mounted them inside the wheel wells.

The sides are the hardest to install. We had the back and front on before the guy at the shop had one side on. You have to leave the factory sides on, but it has nothing to do with being flimsy. The only touch at the bottom were you drill. They have to drill to the factory sides or you could go to a hardware store and get some plastic, but no need to keep the ugly fgactory sides.. any Q's PM me...

we also had to do some custom drilling right in front of the back tire to hold it to the side better. Have a friend push the side skirt on as hard as he can while you drill for best fit...
