I read about disabling the beeping sound when you have the key in the ignition and the door open. But I can't find it anymore I think it was on clubcelica but the site's down. Does anyone know how to do this? I think it had to do with unplugging some wire in the steering wheel. Any help appreciated

hey thanks, but that wasn't really what I had in mind hehe. You know when you leave the driver side door open, with the key in the ignition, and it makes that beeping noise? There's a wire you can unplug i think in the steering colomb to disable that. I know it's possible and I was pretty sure it was on clubcelica but it's down right now.

Hey thanks, I figured it out. All you have to do is unscrew the 2 screw's on the side of the steering wheel, and the top part of the cover comes right off. Then on the back righthand side you will see a while plug, it's a small one and all you have to do is unplug it. That's it Now you can leave your driver side door open and have your music playing without that annoying ass beeping noise. The only drawback is you might lock yourself out of the car, but this shouldn't be a problem if you lock your car with the remote key thing.
