ok, so i bought a 2000 GT and the person before me put what looks like a TRD wing on the back. any time i raise the trunk, it just falls back down.
Does anyone else have this problem? I saw some hydraulic arm things at pep boys but i wasnt sure what to get.
thanks for any info you got.

thanks for the help. I called the dealer today and they quoted me $143 for each "stay assembly". I'm going to call back and try to get them to flip the bill since i bought it "certified" or whatever. Earlier this year they bought me a new cat conv. so i thought i would give it a try.
incase that falls through, anyone have some they didnt use from their kit? PM me

I'll be impressed if toyota forks out 300$ for it-

I have the same problem, and the dealer replace a new set for me, it didn't work, they said my wing(Kaminari Carbon Fiber) was too heavy, the shock which they replaced was the strongest shock. But when I check the part No. it's just the same as old one .Anyone have the part No. for the strongest shock(TRD AC package)?
