I am more curious about the fact that the climate controls are j-spec but the wheel is on the left!??

Are there j-spec's with the wheel on the left or was this custom?

My headunit is made by pioneer. Email me at phatt_boy@yahoo.com and I'll send you a pic (basically the same as pictured, but my lights are green and not red. I want them to be blue).
It was $550 list; lowest audio dealer would go $500; I got mine for $338 shipped from ebay. I may still have his email address.

I don't think a dash conversion is possible. If it is, it'll just cost a lot of money. I'd rather just get a eurospec one. Theirs has 190 hp instead of 180 anyway.

Anyone know how to get this headunit to be blue instead of red?

That is my car, but I didnt change the leds in the head unit. I bought it as it is ( blue lcd and rad buttons).I didn`t see any possibility in the manual to change the color, but you can still change the leds. I didn`t start it ( wanted blue as you) cos they are very small.

Anything for the celica is much cheaper there, it `d be a horror to buy the a.c here, but can ask for you. You mean the electric part, don`t you? I have to check what is the difference.

That's a good link you posted. For around 305 bucks, it's a good deal. I paid 320 last year, but I'm still not complaining when I could only talk it down to 500 from a local retailer. Even if you click on that picture, the buttons are green.

And yes, Diablo GTS, the blue screen is cool. I'm going to Maryland this summer for the meet, maybe I'll show it you there.

How do you change the LEDs in a headunit?

It's a screen or an actual clock color?

Either way, awesome. And this Maryland meet, where and when? Maybe I'll show. Although, my GTS is bone stock... frown

I see what you're saying now. Yeah, the clock does look blue. The screen on the CD player is blue with white writtings.

Dude, get a headunit, rims, and springs for $1000 bucks and your on your way. Installation may cost you more. Check the events section of this forum. There should be a Maryland post.

I have an alpine MP3 CDRW player in my car, and 4 Alpine speakers.

I like my GTS stock rims smile

Other than that, it's stock. I happen to like the stock look, I just wish I could buy a turbo or supercharger that would give me 300HP at the wheels. cry

320 HP GTS. But I think something's wrong w/ their #'s. The stock GTS w/ aftermarket intake and exhaust is only pushing 128hp. That can't right, unless it's a GT. But the motor is VVTLi. Who knows. I can't afford this right now.
