do a search - a lot of talk recently about DC... get Trial or TRD to be safe.

Trial, or TRD as mentioned above. There has also been a couple threads in the past few days.

trial and trd are both proven to be very good for the gts (10-11 whp gain). they're both very good quality and the person above me is right--you can't go wrong.
however, both of these headers (trial and trd) are jdm only--meaning you have to ship them from japan. that will run you $700-$800 PLUS shipping in the continental US (the 7-8c includes shipping from japan to the vendor).
the dc motorsports headers are thought to be coming out at a price in the ballpark of $400--half the price of the above. dc motorsports also claims to have good gains and seeing how dc motorsports is such a reputable company, i beleive them (but i'd still wait to see 3rd party dynos).
my advice: wait for dc motorsports releases their headers & some dynos are out. if the gains are as good as trial and trd..then obviously save the extra $400 and use it for another purpose.

to answer your other question: it doesnt matter what you get first--exhaust or header. usually an exhaust comes first because it is more noticeable (and cheaper for a gts). exhausts are both an appearance mod AND a Performance mod, which makes it more desirable. whereas a header is stricly Performance. i'll put it another way: almost every user who owns a header has an exhaust, whereas most users who have an exhaust do not have a header (in an aftermarket Performance sense)
