i have a question about the ground control coilovers. i am using ground control coilovers on my celi right now and there is 3 finger gap on the rear and 2 and a half gap on the front and i am going with the stock struts and shocks right now. I have 17 inch rev wheels and up to right now i dont have any problems with the suspension

here is the question smile if i get 18 inch wheels , do i really have to change the stock struts and shocks ? some people are telling me change the stock struts some are telling change the shocks and some told me dont need to change any one of them ? i am really confused , thanks in advance for the help guys

If you fell like your shocks need a replacement go ahead and get new shocks... But if it's all good... do not change it. Or change it if you like to have something better than a stock shocks...

no the problem is some people told me change the struts some told me change the shocks ? so which is necessary ?

can i drive with 18's with the stock struts and shocks safely with the ground control coilovers ?

does it make a big problem during driving ? or does it cause an accident ?

Struts rear/Shocks front . When you change your shocks / Struts you do not just change it in the front or in the rear only... You have to change 'em all. And reason why people are change it : 1) Old Shocks/Struts are bad. 2)They (People) would like to have better quality shocks/struts...
Do not worry you will be ok.

how can i understand the struts and shocks are old or bad ? my ride with coilovers are really tough , i mean i am not actually feeling the suspension it is really hard but the advantages are 1) car handles really good at high speeds and 2) looks nice with the drop

but if they are old or bad does it cause an accident ? how can i understand they are ok with the 18's ?

How old is your car?... How long have you drive with your coilovers on your stock shocks?...
Coil overs are very stiff so it's why you feel every bump on the road. I do not think changing your shocks will help you...
Why don't you just change it to Eibach Sportlines?
Here is the picture of my car with Sportline Drop... I think it's not a bad drop and ride feels softer than before. I use to have coilovers .

I got my KYB AJX from E-bay for $ 405. Some one sell it there right now for $390-$400 free shipping. Click here! [cgi.ebay.com] It's the good price.
Honestly I do not know if you will feel a big difference... Coilovers thumbsdown
I prefer to have a low drop but at list some comfort...
Sportlines are stiffer than a stock but way softer than a coil overs...
