Ram Air Your Celica (sort of):

FYI: This can only be done with the 2003 celica because of the new nose style.

behind the nose grill on the drivers side (air box side) there is a foam pad, this blocks the air box from getting fresh air punched right into it.

I took out the air box and cut out the pad with a utility knife, now air goes straight into the box. with this and my TRD air filter I have noticed a big difference over the stock set up.

add on:

03 owners with a short ram and the stock nose should also try this, gets that fresh air right on that big ass air filter

just wondering... do i have to take the whole air box out to do this mod??

yes, didn't take it apart, just unbolted it and moved it up enough to get my hand in there. To be honest it may have been a hell of a lot easier to just take off the nose.
