i have read a lot about the pulley putting a strain on the battery...especially if you have a big soundsystem...i just have the stock stereo and speakers...the pulley shouldn't mess up the batter then right?? also as a side note...if i had the AEM CAI and the AEM pulley i would need to take both out to have warranty work done at my dealer...how easy/difficult would that be??

The AEM pulley would be fine for you. If you want warranty work, yes you will need to take them off. It will actaully be easier because its your 2nd time around and you know what you are doing.

well, when I first installed my Injen CAI it took around 2 hours. When I took it out, it took just about an hour. The pulley, will take anywhere from 30 min to 1 1/2 hours, depends on your mechanical skills. Its not a big deal, but its just a hassle if your car is going to be getting worked on constantly.

the pulley you will need an impact wrench to install it correctly (to install the pulley onto the alternator); i do not have an impact wrench(i just have a cheap ten gallon compressor) so i'm just gonna pull off my alt and have a friend take it(and me lol) to hot rod express and have them impact it for me and as dan stated, it can be a pain warrantying stuff when you gotta pull off the pulley and cai to put stock back on ...just my two cents

i love my AEM pulley. i have a stock system myself and i found no dimming of the lights or any hampering of any electronic gadgets in my car. the most noticeable gain is the throttle (which is nice because i have an auto) plus the lower RPM at hight speeds...though i did not experince lower gas mileage (i'm at 26.6mpg) i may be enjoying the throttle too much. need to lay off the gas a bit..ha,ha.

It is the disc that drives your accessories (AC, Poewr Steering, Alternator, Water Pump, Crank, etc). They are the discs that the belt goes around.

Hey CT,
have you had all your lights, the ac, the wipers, and the radio on all at the same time? I would like to know if that causes any problems.
