I just got my deck installed today...
just wondering, is there any way that the rear and front speaker will be hooked up oppisite?

if yes, does that effect the sound quality? (bass...trenble and stuff)
i have a 03 GTS with the 8 speaker

yea they could have the speakers mixed up if they didn't test them properly and if the polarity is wrong on the speakers it will sound like crap... grin

icic...
but i dont know man, cos all i dont have now is the bass...other than that my speaker sounded fine.

it does have a strange sound tho, like when im accelerating hard, the speaker makes a R/C car engine kinda sound like my engine is running 10K+ rpms..lol!

and when i use the balance function, when i move all the sound to front, the sound all moved to the rear...and the same for rear: all moved to the front.

if its making a huming noise there is a grounding issue and I would take it back!

it sure is, first things first make sure they put the ground back on the head unit. If it still does it you might want to look into a grounding kit, that will solve the problem. Also, did you have the interiors amped w/ an aftermarket amp?
