Well I was souped all day because I was supposed to get my car back with the ACT clutch and Fidanza flywheel installed. I went to the tranny shop, paid and picked my car up around 4:30 this afternoon. I drove it and I definitely love it. It feels so much different and better than stock. BTW, I stalled out twice before I got the hang of it. Anyway, so I'm driving on the highway going back home when the dude at the tranny shop calls me and tells me that there was a puddle when I pulled off. I was leaking fluid. While I was talking to him, I noticed a funny smell so I took it back. He checked it out and said I was leaking. So I had to leave it there again and I'll pick it up tomorrow. Since they close at 5 p.m. he didn't have time to rectify the problem then and there because they were working on some other cars. But he said it was a small easy fix and I'd have it back tomorrow. I was leaking transmission fluid he said. Anyway, for the 15 mins or so of driving it, I must say I love the clutch and I thank you who recommeded it for doing so. Sorry to be so long. thumbsup

Wow, that can't be good. I'd get it in writing that someone forgot to plug the tranny up, in case something was damaged.

I wonder if they forgot to tighten the drain bolt (don't see how this could happen if you are using an impact wrench), or the transmission casing wasn't sealed completely.

I remember when I installed mine, it took me 20 minutes and two jacks and two by fours to get the damn thing lined up. spineyes

Got my car back today. I really like the way it feels. Shifting is so much better and I definitely like the clutch better than stock. No more leaks nor funny smells.

$1100? Lemme see...

ACT Street Clutch shipped from jscspeed :$ 322.19
Fidanza Flywheel shipped from motorsportsauthority:$ 351.18
Installation cost :$ 350.00
Total :$1023.37
Driving my car after parts were innstalled : Priceless grin

So yeah, $1100 wasn't a bad estimate. Start saving. Hopefully you're better at it than I am. thumbsup
