A friend of mine gets good deals and was gonna hook me up but his source is our of a specific wheel (go figure). I'm looking to buy some 18" Konig Verdicts in Opal and am wondering where to get the best deals.

I've seen this tire offered in 18x7.5 and 18.8. Will both fit on a Celica without any other modifications? I've seen pricing from $850 to over $1200 for these wheels so I'm kinda confused. I'd like to save and get a wheel/tire package if that is possible.

Thanks,

If you have a discount tire in your area, they price match websites. They did mine.

Also I've seen wheels available in the following sizes:

215-35-18 cheapest
215-40-18 more expensive
225-35-18 most expensive

I think I know what the center number means (tire length from wheel to edgue of tire), and I'm not sure what the 225 means, although I've looked. Which of these would you guys suggest?

The first number is tire width in mm, so the 225 will be wider. The second number is the aspect ratio, or percent of the width that is sidewall. So therefore 35% of 215 is a 75.3mm sidewall, and 35% of 225 is slightly taller at 78.8mm tall.
