Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Can I do this to my 04 GT? Havin' problems

I plan on doing the following to my loaded '04 GT, is there anything on this list not available? It seems everything I look at is listed for either GTS or 2000-03.

Note: Car had all options except no spoiler and no foglights!

1) Spoiler - already ordered and paid for from dealer, install this week.
2) Foglights - in the process of getting a '00 stock set from a forum member. Was told I'd need brackets to mount them, that they wouldn't fit otherwise... true?
3) TRD air filer - Yes, air filter. =\ Dealer said they pretty much hate Intakes and that's as far as they'd go. So he sold me a TRD filter he said would work and I left. I get home... thing doesn't fit! I'm like WTF?! And it doesn't fit by *far*, 6" too big minimum.
4) TRD exhaust - dealer said there isn't one that'll fit the '04. Still trying to find out the story on this.
5) Window tinting - hey, figured this is something I CAN do!
6) TRD Springs/Struts - Bought springs from a forum member already that are supposed to fit, and need to pick up struts. Dealer says no TRD struts for '04. WTF!?
7) Rims/Tires - Dealer says he'll only work with TRD or Enkei. Ooook.
8) Keyless entry is 500 bucks. Ooook.

Anyway, is the 04 GT really all THAT different? I mean even the gauges I see say 00-03 or GTS only... bah! And most importantly, is my dealer a moronic asswipe or what?

first of all your dealer is a fucking dick head that wants to fucking rob your ass, just like everyother dealer. You should install at least a short ram Intake, get some after market rims if you go with the one from the dealer bro you better get ready too pay at least $2000

Your dealership is assignine like mine and many others. When I first got my car I complained about the condensation in the headlights. We don't notice any, they told me until my warranty was gone. That goes the same for the belt tensioner. Mine told me to take my CAI off because it doesn't belong and work (I was throwing a CEL at the time). Now no CEL for well over a year and they don't care or say s**t about the CAI. Toyota refused to check my suspension during a scheduled tune-up because I have coilovers. They told me not to bring my car back there. Unlike you my Volks didn't seem to upset matters any worse or my lowered car on those same coilovers. They wouldn't even give me my own keys to my car when I refuse to have the brakes replaced by Toyota, saying you will get into an accident. Even though I was going 3 blocks down the road. I have been back many times and every time its something different or no problem. It's all Toyota's bull and I'm personally sick of it.

Toyota are a bunch of dumbasses. They think they know all this and shit but they are moronic and they always make up some kind of excuses/problems when you go to them to get something check out or fix..personally i hate my dealer, i would never go to them for anything...there's plenty of shop around here who know what they're doing. I'd suggest you don't listen to toyota bs aobut Intake and aftermarket parts, ask people on this forum they know what fit and what doesn't. Don't waste ur money on dealer bs.

everything you said will it...the 04 is the same the 03 which is the same internals as 00-02...except exterior.
