Can folks just throw me a few suggestions for an amp since I know very little except the major name brands?
I have a nice JVC head unit and Xplode speakers, those being two 10"s and a mid/tweeter system. It's all boxed in the closet and I'm not getting it out for model #'s, etc. Good shit though I think.
What works good? Should I get an Xplode amp in keeping w/the speakers? How many amps should I get? I'm concerned about this sounding good to *me* at moderately loud to loud levels. If the guy next to me hears nothing I'm happy w/that.
I also have 2 10'' xplod speakers w/ a 800 watt sony xplod amp and it hits hard as hell!! when me and my friends hooked it up we didnt think it was gonna be that great, and then i turned the loud button on my head unit and they were hitting like crazy...so i suggest the xplod amp...plus i heard somewhere, maybe a rumor that the xplod amps work best with the xplod subs instead of mismatchin em with other brands...i also have a jvc head unit...
If I was you, i would stick with xplod stuff, just to keep it matching. If you're gonna have it installed, you don't want mix-matching parts. That's just me.
