Ok, so I am trying to install the leds to my gauge cluster circuit board...they are not working. I have no idea what to do? Does the solder provide current for the circuit? I know that they are both touching the solder...

However it is hard to make them seat flush... I can't keep both sides hot at one time... THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE PLEASE HELP WITH ANY TIPS!!!!

did you make sure the little green thing on the back of the LED was facing down??

i know that when i did mine, two weren't lighting up...so i just said fuck that and left them..idk if they are lit now or not, but it didn't make a difference since i have AC gauges...

you may have fucked the board up.

I soldered mine and it went fine, what color LED's? If you have red LED's they go are supposed to go opposite of the stock LED's i think its arrows pointing down, but if you have any other color just double check you have them facing the right direction or just resolder some of them to be sure!

If they are red I am 10000% sure they go the other way!! thumbsup

EDIT: Here's the link for the install, a few steps down it says RED LED's go in opposite direction as factory!

If thats your problem just switch em around and youre good to go!!

Damn that sucks ... I wanted to grab some red LED's for my gauges... but this sounds like it's almost too much trouble than what is worth. I dont want to mess up my board, is there anywhere I can take it to have them installed? Is there an easy "to-do" process printed out there for red LED??

I GOT IT TO WORK!!!! Whoever suggested flipping them is a genius...i luv you. It looks awesome!! All the pictures on line do not do it justice!!!! I ended up taking it to a T.V. repair place. They charged me $20 bucks...but I think that is a good deal. I am just so stoked though!!! Looks so Good!! It is totally worth the pain and mental anguish... Oh, and I found out...while driving around without the cluster in your car you cannot engage lift. Or Air Conditioning. And other stuff. thumbsup
