how low does the eibach proline kit drop the car on a 02 gt. is there a set of springs that would go to 1.5 drop on the market?
do i also need new shocks and struts with that kit too or can i get away with the factory ones?

and also do i need a front and rear camber kit?


second topic is what is better to put on first and cold air Intake or exhaust? and what does the Intake affect?

if you want a 1.5" drop, go with Tein, they're only $150. You wont need a camber kit w/this drop.

Intake or exhaust? it's really up to you, but I would go with exhaust 'cuz it makes the car sound & look better.

i see in the product description of the ebiach sportline that it says 1.5 to 2" drop. are they saying that i am able to set it at any height in that range. what about shocks and struts?

so do i need a set of 4 shocks or 4 struts or do i need 2 of each if i am making this change.

i think it can be stated the rule of thumb is you need a camber kit for a drop of 2in or lower

The Eibach pro kit 1" drop.
Eibach sportline kit 2" drop.
When it says 1.5-2" drop it is just talking about the same spring, no it's not adjustable. But when you put them on, the springs will "settle" a little bit and eventually be a little lower than they are when you first put them on. With anything more than 1.5" drop(sportline) you are gonna need a camber kit. The front kit is only like 30 bucks but the rear you have to buy the whole link and they are about 200.00 something i think.

the eibach sportslines drop:

1.2" in the front
2.4" in the rear

for any drop that covers more than 1" Performance shocks & struts (struts are almost always included in shock packages) are recommened (your stock shocks will only last an average of 1 year, anyway)

the tein s-techs give a 1.4" drop in both the front and rear.

tein is excellent quality and is cheaper than other top quality brands

personally, i'd go with exhaust first..but thats purely a matter of opinion. to me, an exhaust is more noticeable and will usually add 1 or 2 more whp than an Intake.

an Intake just affects how much air goes to your engine for combustion. aftermarket Performance Intakes have a wider diameter, and this allows more air (and thus more oxygen) to enter your engine.
