That is something I am worried about. I have had my old car broken into once and a lot of stuff stolen. What are some ways I can keep my S2k antenna from being jacked?

Also, try parking in a different spots or something.. It might be time to invest in a video camera. $100+ on antennas is ridiculous..

I used loctite, and I tried to get it off, I had to use a wrench and it took me 15 minutes

Its been in a diff spot every time... if you come to daytona take your ant. off. my toyota dealership back in MN says 231 for a power ant. assembly... i wonder if i should go that route or just head back to the honda dealer tomorrow. you can get locktite at home depot or anything like that... get the red sh*t, its "permanent" the blue just makes it harder to take off.

The other day at school, my friend walked up to my car and just twisted my S2000 Antenna right off! I really should get some loctite.

this is what i did, and it hasnt been stolen yet. remove the black housing, it can just be pulled off with a little force. then you use an adjustable wrench and screw that bad boy in ur stock antenna hole pretty tight. and then put the rubber housing back on. i doubt somebody is gonna come around with an adjustable wrench trying to unscrew ur antenna off.

if it's so easy to take it off, just take it off where ever you go, and put it back on before you get in your car. i know it sucks but hey its better than paying 100 plus for antennas huh?

If it was the guy he thinks it is... I think the f*ck would just break off the antena or something if he couldn't steal it...Assuming he left it extended.

got my antenna jacked when i was playing ball at the park...i thought about using loctite but i thought about if someone for some reason cut off or messed up a part of the antenna then i wouldn't be able to replace it because of that loctite stuff...i just take mine off when i park somewhere and put it back on when i come back

It seems like everyone's S2K antenna gets jacked on every car.. except I've never heard a S2K owner complain about that!

Perhaps to save cash you could always get a knock-off brand..or simply just do the whole locktite thing.

ok i live in sf... the home of shady ricers who steal other folks parts that they worked hard to pay for. my previous car a modded 2k civic was stolen from me, right after i installed some sportline springs and camber kit. when i got my celi, some ricer stole my "celic" polished license plate cover in the middle of the night. eversince i got the s2k attenna i keep it tight enough for me to take off and take it with me or put it in my glove box. no one has ever stolen it. i know it's only worth 20 dollars... but once some asshole jack's it, it feels like it's worth 100.

Mine got jakked. What I do now is just open the hatch right quick & throw it on top of my speaker box. When I come back I hit the button on my remote, pop the hatch & screw it back on. If you're careful you should be able to do this forever.
