bought the TRD Shifter online.. called up the local toyota dealership - Competition Toyota NY (Official TRD Retail Center).. first I had to explain what a TRD Quick/Short Shifter is.. and guess how much he asked for just to install the shifter, $430.00 US DOLLARS! hes like its a 5 hour job!.. I was like no thanks.

by the way.. how much should this install cost?

Just do it your self... it will cost you only 1-2 hours...

LOL what an idiot. I bet you could do it in about half an hour from start to finish. I think it just basically drops right in. No wonder they don't sell much stuff. They tried to quote me around $500 for a TRD spring install. They can go and suck on my chocolate salty balls. LOL

Just do it your self... it will cost you only 1-2 hours...

i was like no mechanic done on my car before and i innstaled it my selv it was easy but since i am so slow with finding tools it took long time just do it your self when i can do it every one can happywink
if a dealer shudd do it i wudd not pay over 150 us dollar
then its better doing it self

It took me about 30 minutes the first time, and about 15 minutes the second time spineyes
