I got a call from a buddy of mine last night...he has Kazuma on his celi, and finally has given up dealing with the police where he lives (he's in tampa, I'm in ATL), I told him to sell the Kazuma and get the TRD exhaust...He says he wants to keep the kazuma and just put one of those universal straight through resonators in to help mellow it out a little (I think he said magnaflow)...I told him that the magnaflow would mellow it out a little, but it would still probably be too loud to meet requirements, and besides...you bought a kazuma, what's the point in throwing a resonator on it to TRY and tame it ...he said he'd think about it...so you guys tell me what to tell him...just bite it and go TRD, or will the magnaflow help his kazuma

it will a small amount, but then it would be just like any other exaust , if i'm not mistaken.

As long as he can take it off at the track, I'm not sure how much it will help the sound though.

putting on a resonator will make it like any other exhaust, except for it connects to the cat. He'll end up spending the same amount puttin on the resonator that he would have if he had bought the TRD in the first place. he should sell it & whatever he gets, he can put it towards the TRD exhaust.
