ok im thinking about getting the 2zz motor for my GT since i blew my motor... but i have a question... does it fit right on??? am i going to have to buy anything else? or pay any extra? how much extra cash would i have to spend???

yeah everythings exactly the same cept what he said, basically a gts without lift is a gt

the transmission is different and besides that...the ECU and entire engine.

Ok well i found a japan 2zz motor for 1500 dollars... 20k miles on it... im gono get it but how much more $$$ do you think ill need?

get 3sgte motor it has a lot more potential then the 2zz

From what I've heard a whole 3SGTE conv. runs about $7-8K !?! Anybody know? Anyways it requires some fabrication I think for it to fit right. But after you mod it it can make some serious hp. Only 7th gen 3sgte conv. I've seen was churning out 549 whp!!!

for the 3sgte be prepared to spend 10Gs for installion plus engine cost (unless they lessed the cost), and to get 500 plus horsepower out of any car you will be spending a hella lot of money

I agree, the 3sgte is like one step below supra status. The 3s-gte is capable of so much. The one guy in florida, that was in HCI magazine is around 600hp. I heared he might sell a kit for $10,000.
