Hi there... Acutally I bought used celica GTS and the check engine light in on. I checked the car in toyota dealer and they said it's due to Catalic Convertor (filter) Sensor, because the filter is removed and the sensor check the CO level if it's same then the Check engine light will show.
So any idea how I can disable the catalic converter (filter) sensor so I will not get the check engine light ??
thanks is advance

I have no idea, but that gives you an excuse to buy a high flow Cat.

the 2 sensors that are before and after the cat are the O2 sensors. if they're bad, just go to an automobile store and buy some replacements.

its not that easy. i removed my cat a while back and the shop ruined my o2 sensors in the process. i made them put the cat back but o2 sensors are still ruined. cel comes on and car runs like shit at low rpms like this. if you find a good aftermarket o2 sensor that works, let me know where you got it from. toyota asks about 170 a piece. im making them pay for new ones but they ordered one of the wrong ones. this shop sucks soooo bad. i threatneed to sue em. oh.. theres a link on newcelica.org about making an mil eliminator. search for it. i forgot the link but im sure you can find it.
