should be legal, and should be decently loud cause the piping is straiter than most axlebacks

Those aren't "US spec" and "JDM spec.." The first one is the one that you would use for N/A cars. THe second is for Forced Induction. I contacted trial and they said...prety much nothin. All he could say was that it was "96db while the engine is racing." What does this mean? I don't know. What I do know is...I DON"T SPEAK FREAKY DEAKY JAPANESE!!!! He obviously doesn't speak english either...

On a side note. I am buying the N/A version one reallly soon here. I will let yah all know the gains. thumbsup

96 db at 'racing' usually means what an exhaust sounds like at 6k rpms. not sound legal.

...actually, the first pic shown is the new v.III of this exhaust, ready for the U.S. -- the second pic was the v.I was too loud for street use in Japan or USA, so they attempted v.II with a slightly different canister, which was still too loud.

Above are the pics of the v.II prototype on my car. Neither v.I or v.II are available to the public. This exhaust is very loud, but fitment was excellent and Performance has exceeded my previous TSRM and Espelir JGT500. I'm not sure how the v.III will perform because TRIAL expected a slight loss in power compared to the v.I or v.II prototypes, but if there is one I doubt it would be noticeable.

Pics of the Turbo application have yet to be released, and I'd like to see if they will use the v.III design, but with larger piping and a bigger muffler inlet/outlet.

Wut's the difference between ver. 2 and 3?? They look exactly the same. The one I got looks like the one in the first pic and i think it was the ver. 2.

Ver.2 used the same piping as ver.1 (w/out the pre-resonator) but changed to the muffler that is also used in ver.3 (basically, v2 is v1 with v3 muffler) -- there were only three ver.2 prototypes made for testing before work was started on ver.3, two of which are on TRIAL/Blitz SC'd prototype cars here in the states, and the other on mine.

actually for california you need to be under 95 dba @ 3000rpms.

lift is significantly louder, than at 3K rpms.

95 db is pretty loud, 100db is a police siren

That's off the hook! The louder the better.
