Does anybody know how to do this? I had to buy a new

piece, and it didn't come with a cig lighter so I need to

take it out of my old piece. I've got the connecting wiring

on the back off, I just can't get the lighter assembly

itself out. confused

not sure myself..i didn't think you could take it out.

anyway, it looks like you'll have to shove & twist it out. mine's in there pretty good but there are no screws or clips so if there is any other way i have no clue.

I couldve sworn we had a video that showed you how to remove the cigarette lighter assembly here in Ecelica. Let me see if I can find it.

Okay, I've got the lighter in, no problem. It lights up, but it won't power anything! Any ideas as to why? ... cry

i have the same problem..i have no clue. the other day we tried installing an aftermarket cd player, but it didn't go well so we wound up putting everything back in. the cig lighter lights up, but now my cellphone charger won't work (or my cig lighter for that matter). it's probably a fuse (which i will check and i will let you know within a day or two). anyway, if you want to check the fuse, go to 'tech info' above, scroll to 'electrical' and then click on 'fuse diagrams'. you must have adobe acrobat.
