finally got my kit painted, i did the pre fit and all that, took it to the paint shop and they charged me $500. not to bad considering they had to fix 3 cracks in the gel coat. though it is the veilside ff gt, you still may have cracks when it comes off of ups.anyways to the people that have the vs ff gt front end, i am not taking the plastic under paneling off, ive reinforced it, so its solid and wont shake around but will the plastic edge show through the main opening of the front end? or will it sit below the opening so you dont see the plastic edge?

can't wait to see it installed. and make sure you get the underbody plastics cut shorter or reinforced...

mine were temporarily duct taped to the front...and now they are completely bent down all fucked up...i need new ones and need work done to my front now. frown

you cut yours too far back imo...cause when you look through the mouth of the front, you can see the road right behind it frown

i have to get new ones now and i want them cut shorter, then secured somehow...i don't even know.

true...but i think its cleaner that way than having it cut halfway thru. i think if you cut it anyother way the plastic would still bend and if i secure it in different locations it would not be practical for me since it will be harder to take off the bumper(if i had too)so i went with practicality than looks thumbsup besides i have my liscence plate blocking that view of the road grin tongue

i installed the kit today, and figured out the plastic under body issue. what i did was get multiple metal brackets from lowes and bolts and nuts. there are multiple unused holes under the radiator on the frame. i used those as mounting points and made sort of a skeleton to secure the plastic. also made two notches were the front end would come into contact with the plastic. its as solid as stock and would never know anything was done to it
