do i need new shocks or anything else put on if i get the TRD springs?? some people say yes..some people say no. i want to know from people who DO HAVE trd springs. i'm thinking of getting them someday if i find a place to install them for cheap...someone here said $100 for install but that's kinda unlikely

no, i have them and you don't need new shocks, you'd only need new shocks with a 2 inch or more drop, some say a 1 3/4 inch drop u'd need them too, but trd is only like 1 1/4-1 1/2 inch drop

i'm late, but its true you do not need new shock, the TRD springs only lower 1.2" which is about 1 1/4" thumbsup

i have eibach sportlines and the ride quality isn't that bad. Actually it's pretty good for a 2 inch drop. TRD is less than that...

hey ct, you should get some tein S-tech springs. they will drop your car 1.4 all around and cost about $140, thats way cheaper than TRD. and from what i've heard they are great quality. tein is a company based in Japan and they are suspension specialists, they also give a 1 year warrenty on the springs, if they sag, so that just goes to show the confidence in their product. i'm going to get these soon. check your PM, i'll give you my number and maybe we could go pick some up together, i know a place in Downey, not too far from you.
