Strut bar? Which is the Best?

Ok, I have a question thats been going on in E-Celica for at least a week, maybe more. I want to put it to a rest regarding chasis reinforcement. Post your pictures and comments now and forever. I know the best strut tower bar front and rear combination for our cars currently. Anyone want to add more info on any other reinforcement or strut tower bars feel free to do so. I will be first of course. Tanabe, can't beat the under $100 dollar value for a quality front strut bar. I thought Jic carbon fiber until they pulled out on me. Brash boy is the best now, but worth $220? A TRD rear and the Brash boy rear brace bar ($220.00). A side tower bar (189.00). Other strut tower bars like Rod Millen, etc. should be discontinued on cost alone. Every comment, picture, or whatever counts. Here are some picts to understand what I'm saying... hold please.

I believe they help. You and I may not notice that much of a difference driving to the store and back unless pushing our cars. You can post whenever you feel free to do so. You just beat me to it.

From looking at the bars, the Brash Boy looks the best of the front bars - because it has a master brake stopper. But it certainly isn't cheap...

The only question I have of front strut bars is - why doesn't TRD produce one? And that begs the question - if TRD (both US and Japan) doesn't produce one, then is it really needed? I mean, they make front, rear and underbody braces for the Echo, but not for the Celica?? Do they think it is stiff enough in the front end already??

Just my thoughts...

TRD doesnt make one, because they hate the celica. there is barely any sopport from TRD for our cars. and no, the front strut tower bars dont come stock with enough regidity. i can TOTALLY feel my apr front strut tower bar, and LOVE it

APR flex control bar = thumbsdown
i don't recommend this bar. A faint "popping" noise occurs when turning even after re-installing the bar over again. That's why i got Tanabe thumbsup...waiting to be installed.

the reason TRD doesnt make one is because they say that having a front strut bar blocks the air Intake from the hoodscoop. the hoodscoop does serve some purpose, and with other strut bars, the air is going to be blocked (slightly). but the hypermotive bar still enables air travel through the scoop into the engine because of the way its designed. but a strut bar is a strut bar, ive had tanabe, switched to apr, both are great, but the install for apr is easier and it looks better. i say get the brashboy one and tell us how it is.

hotchkis is by far the best, but its just so damm expencive just for a strut bar

hotchkis is more than just a strut bar because they come with camber plates. here's a blurb from them:

I haven't had that problem with my apr flex control bar..

I doubt a strut bar will cause the car to overheat. If there's any difference between the solid bars and hypermotive it will be minimal. Most people just buy the latter for its improved appearance.
