Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior how do you guy installed aftermarket stereo?

Do you guy have pics of installing stereo?? What model harness did you get. I have premium sound in my GTS, guy at stereo shop said my car need like some kind of special harness cost around $70-80 bucks. I don't think so! so how do you guy install your stereo?? guides with pics will help tons.

you have to remember in the GTS you have a factory AMP that must be bypassed in order for it to work. That $80 harness may be your only choice unless you know how to do the wiring yourself. It's not hard at all.

unfortunately I did not take pics when I did mine. The amp is located under the passenger side airbag just to the right and behind the glove box.
