yo do these have to be transperant paint? or can it be like gloss black or something like that ?

yo do these have to be transperant paint? or can it be like gloss black or something like that ? it doesnt have to be transparent. paint it the color you want and then use transparent (clearcoat) over the colored paint so that the job will look better for a longer time (just like your car's exterior). transparent paints do help around the ac controls though, so it is a good idea to look into those unless you want the little pictures do disappear forever.

im using gloss black and its shiny... (bought the wrong one from the install guide) and i bought gloss cote (is that the same as clearcoat?) is this ok to use ?

if your using gloss black, the only problem i ever really had with it is that when the sun hits it, it gets a bronzy look to it. You might want to try flat black with a clearcoat over that, it keeps the color a lot better, just my opionion though.
