Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Where to Ground Line Level Converter?

Hello.

I'm installed an amp to my stock deck using a line level converter (no gain control built in). It seems to be sending an odd signal to my subs. The subs don't respond to the music they just pump through there full range of motion really slowly.

I think the problem my be because i have ground it poorly. I just used a bolt behind the dash and attached the ground on the line level convter to that.

Where do you recomend i ground the LLC?

NOTE: The LLC is installed behind the deck in the dash on the rear speaker wires.

I don't know anything about installing sounds systems, so I'm not gonna pass this off as a fact, but is there any way that you can access the frame of the car?

You can always ground it there, or anywhere here...
