intakes alone usually give about 2-3 (name brand such as injen, aem, rmm)
exhausts alone usually give about 3-5 (again: not ripoffs)
headers alone usually give about 4-11 (same..no ripoffs)

when you put everything together though, you will gain more together than they do individually.

you're looking at a ballpark figure of 13-15 whp thumbsup

You can't just add them up; those are independent gains. Together, they don't equal the sum of all their parts.

I'd say 7hp at the most. That's just me.

Besides, dyno results can fluctuate a few horsepower each read, so who really knows?

3sgte's can have over 500 hp easy, they are found in the older MR2's and all trac's.

with the "zz" engines, i'd say smaay had the highest, with about 267ish WHP, from the XS Turbo.

synergy.. um.. The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.

so, if the combo of these items were a synergy, they would offer more hp than the sum of the individual pieces, not less

well to answer your question a stock gts with Intake, header, and exhaust rate at about 175whp. our GTS respond very well to "breather" mods.

Yeah, you also said that you can't just add them up. I understand the concept and agree with you. Also, I misread a post, yes- but it wasn't yours I was responding to. Unnecessary... complications... zzzi... ``zzzzz' ''

^^Thus, as ct's dyno demonstrates.. all of those mods together only yielded a 5hp increase deal

exactly.

Trials #'s are about as far fetched as you can get. people claim up to 10 whp but I personally have yet to see it done. Even monkey wrench racing was unhappy with the results they got when dynoing with the trial. So bad in fact they wouldnt release the #'s. lol

I don't think you'll see more then 10 whp all three combined. Even thats a bit of a stretch.

if you want real power you gotta get the Power FC and tune it to your car. with generic tuning I saw 20 whp in the midrange and 15 wtq. I plan to hit 180 whp with proper tuning wink only mods besides the pfc is AEM CAI.

good luck aiming for 15 whp gains with I/H/E smile

well they will lose low end but gain mid to high end...they are "slower" because pick up from a stop is slower...

there is only ONE exhaust manifold on the celica, hence we have One headder.

if we had a v4(boxter style) v6 or v8 we would have 2 exhaust manifolds hence "headders"

trial headder has been shown to run pretty lean on a dyno, as well as other i/h/e gts's which will make more power,

stock dynos are anywhere from high 150's to low 160's and i/h/e gts usually dyno in the 170's

gains from i/h/e are in the 10whp range.

as mike said add the pfc and it gets multiplied. as we will soon see with my car smile
