Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Dashboards

Hey yall, i live in Houston, and ive been looking up locations that sell indiglo dash boards. Ive called pep boys, autozone, car toys, and several other car shops, and none of them seem to sell them. I also have been looking at the forums in the installs section of this website, and have been looking at changing the LED lights behind the dash to red. I am going with a red/black color scheme for my car. I have a few questions... If i decide to take the steps in the installs section for replacing LED lights, i will have to solder some parts. I am not experienced in this. Do yall recommend i try to do it myself? Can any of yall tell me how to do it? If you think i shouldnt do this by myself, can yall give me some shops that will sell indiglo dash boards and install them? Thanks alot, i appreciate it.

are you talking about the gauges (speedo, tach, etc.) or the center console (heater, clock, etc.)?

Im talking about the gauges...but i have another question...do you guys know where they sell colored acetate? And also, if i get someone or some place to install a dash for me im worried that they might mess the pins up and not callobrate them correctly..

Nevermind, i got brake lens repair tape that i will use for the in console lighting at O'Rielly.

also, our own ecelica store sells these ($85), someone said they were on backorder though? doesnt hurt to find out.

if you want to go with red, then your all set with your brake repair tape. however, this is the only place i've seen it that sells other colors (use 2 sided tape to keep the acetate in place.

Yea, i just need a place that will install it. Because most places will only install accessories and mods if you buy the product from their store. Thats the only problem
