K Everyone im considering fender flares...and i want everyones opinion.

I have Kaminari front and back with RMM sides. I have a guy that will probably do them custom...to follow the lines of the kaminari kit...so its more of a wide body than just flares...might even widen the sides. I think i will also do some custom side vents.

but i cant decide. Do that or just get X1 fenders and call it a day. I will be doing a custom paint. How much is to much? Should i just go with the side vents and mold everything for a very clean look. Or go all out with the wide body????

thanks for the help guys.

go x-1 and call it a day, unless you have money to toss around on molding fender flares.

Also, you'll probably need new rims if you go with the flares, which is even more money down the drain.

yeah dude go x-1 and leave it...they'll probably run you like around $700 to buy, paint, and install as is...and side vents run about $500 - $600 to put in

custom wide-body that baby!

if you have the cash, this is definately the way to go. custom work done by a professioanl who knows what he's doing is worth more than any x-1 fender can ever give.

i do like the x-1 fenders, but if the $$ is there, definately do the whole widebody idea thumbsup

I def like the VS2 fenders.

If i did side vents it wouldnt be nsx..its probably gonna be custom made to match the lines of the RMM and the body lines of the celica.

I just cant decide if I wanna go wide body and make it more agressive...or keep it clean. If i did widebody I would have to get Spacers right now.

Does everyone think that ...VS2 or X1 fenders and side vents are too much??

Well see im gonna meet with a new paint/body guy tonight.

Spacers thumbsdown

If you can't afford to do it right, don't do it at all. Just keep it clean with x-1 fenders, instead. thumbsup

keep it the way it is...looks awesome, get X-1 flares and you'll be good...you don't want to overdo it. keep it nice and clean...people will appreciate it more.

i still say do it custom.

however, i do like the x-1 fenders and it'll be cheaper that way.

also, theres nothing wrong w/spacers--you won't even be able to tell you artificially lengthened your wheelbase.
