just to update you guys...
i ust got the information package from TRD
. included are:
-a record of conversation between the TRD
official and the chp on sae testing standards and procedures. stating that the engine be reved at 3-5K rpm...as stated i was tested at a very high 5700rpm @ 96.5db with a barely pass status...had i been tested at 3-5K i would have past with flying colors.
-a revised TRD
certificate saying that the exhaust has met rigorous testing requirements as per sae requirements.
-a chart of gts testing db per rpm. it clearly shows a 88-90db at or between 3-5K rpm...a max 5775 rpm was tested at 93db...(but who drives around at 5775 rpms??? unless you're racing??)...
chp bulletins on how to adress issue as a correctible violation. so appearance in court should be nullified if ticket has been stamped with corrected violation stamp (which mine was)
