Ok so i had a debate with Tim at my work.
I told him how i changed my gauges and my needles are off. well they are pretty close now but i think they are still slighty off. i told him that i was gonna go crusie with my friend who has a celi and match speeds then page him and ask him what his rpms are.
then he goes and tells me that, that wont work b/c my friends celi is a pos (its falling apart he beat the Funk out of it) but he said that after a while the car rpms are going to change at speeds.
like when you first drive the car off the lot you can cruse at 60mph at like 3000rpms, but then after li ke 60,000miles you might go cruise at 60mpg and the car may be at 3,500rpms.
i told him that i dont see why it would do that and i really dont think it works like that.
can anyone prove this?!?!? if no one can, can ppl just post the rpm's at 60mph and how many miles you have on ur car.
i also need to fix my mph/rpm so i would like to know what rpm ppl have at 60mpg.
i read on nc that 65mph is 3,500rpm but i dont know if that is right (that is where mine is at now)
thanx
