Does anyone know if you can purchase a shift knob that will actually thread onto the shifter of the GTS? I've had one of those one size fits all jobs on an older car, but it spun around and I didn't like how it wasn't threaded down.

Should I just get another one from the dealership or is there something better?

I like the leather, but I wouldn't mind something aluminum or silver. Thanks! grin

I think I would buy that if the shift pattern was actually on the knob, not just a sticker.

dealer is good, but they overcharge most of the time.
if you like the stock knob, try asking around if someone is willing to see theirs to you (seeingthat many have aftermarket shift knobs)

I love the stock knob, but since the car is used its got some wear on it. Also, it was over tightened once, so there is a little bit of a bump at the top which is kind of annoying.

I'll see how much the dealer wants to charge, I have to go in to get some other parts I ordered (the plastic gauge cover, seeing as how it has an unremovable grease all over the back of it and a license plate spacer (only $40 for the 2 parts))

If they want like +$100 I'll tell them to stuff it.

I'll look into it and see which one is better.

Thanks for the input!
