I have a set of the Dropzone coilovers.. I think 0 - 4" drop capabilities. I took off my new rims which is the main reason I want my car lowered unhooked the shocks and brakes and stuff. Took of the spring put the coilover in it's place. Jacked it back down and to my surprise my car was higher. Took it all off set the setting to the furthest it should drop and it was about the height when I started. I heard something about when you get coilovers you should get shocks also. Is that a problem or what might the problem be...?

the problem is that you got cheap imitations which arent true coilovers

well, they are coilover conversions (or coilover sleeves) but they should still be adjustable i believe.

make sure that the ones you put on the front are for the front and not the rear. the rear should be a different load weight than the front

True, make sure you installed the right one's in the front. You also gotta wait two weeks for the springs to settle down before getting an alingment.
