If you think your going to end up getting a flywheel sometime anyway you should do it now to save the labor.

Just get the factory Toyota clutch. Only costs under $200, and anything else will be overkill and wear faster due to higher clamping pressures.

People go out buying heavy duty clutches for their Celicas that put down a dismal amount of torque compared to what the clutch can handle.

When shopping for a clutch, bigger isn't always better.

I would definatly save the labor costs and get the clutch and lightweight flywheel. I'd even want to get an LSD on while it's all apart, but some $$ in that. The exhaust can go on anytime.

thought TRD clutch was supposed to last twice as long due to being made of far superior materials.

I would suggest clutch and flywheel, you can do exhaust anytime. My car is in the shop having tranny replaced, i'm having a fidanza flywheel installed. Last time they worked on my tranny and didn't fix the problem i got a TRD clutch.
