Hey there everyone thats ever wanted their own TRD 4 pt. harness, here's the guide for you.

First go to this site and buy your harness>>> http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll...ACING+SEAT+BELT [search.ebay.com]

Then go to your local hardware store and buy replacement bracket bolts that are 1" long (sorry i don't remember what size they are).

Then remove rear bracket bolts and loosen the front ones so that there is some play in the seat. the plastic covers come right off even though they take some effort.

Flatten out hooks so that they will both fit under mounting bracket

Then use new 1" bolts and tighten it all down, and insert strapes as shown, and place stock seat belt around the back of the seat and and buckel it into its normal spot (so that the car know that there is someone in the seat and the damn buckel seat belt light will go away)

I hope that you don't get in an accident while wearing them 'cuz you can screw up your back like that. The shoulder straps should be mounted behind the seat, not underneath it. By having them underneath, when you go foward the strap presses down on your shoulder, hence all the pressure goes down your back.

But if you're doing this for show, then it's pretty pimp grin

I think you will be alright cause the pivit point is coming through the hole in the seats. Also if you have them tight enough you shouldnt be going forward anyway.

**Did you see this on trucks on TNN cause they had a discussion on that the other day.

Is there a way to take out the stock belts and get the little seat belt man to go away? Or would it leave holes where the belt attaches now.

I think so too.
I was about to buy them, but couldn't figure out how to attach them. This way, if you get into an accident, your chair (and you) will be folded down I think.
Better get the TRD rear strut brace and attach them to that, one way or the other.

This looks great, but seems like a very bad setup

It shouldn't matter where the belts are secured... since it is secured through the seat back. The only way that I can see you getting that sort of downward motion would be if the belt was fed through a hole that sat lower than your shoulders. That isn't the case with our seats though...

depends how tall you are but its still safer to have them at or above shoulder level i know i would get fed up if i did it like that cause my shoulders are higher then seat

but i did it that way in my jetta lol though its dangeors it does look PIMP thumbsup

and im sure if you start cutten some of those wires on the seat belt there will be some that f connected will take that light off

even if your shoulders are below the holes in the seat it can still be dangerouse, you can install a seat belt harness bar directly behind the front seats, thats what a lot of people are doing now but it practicly makes the back seats useless
