I have a knock-off apex filter on my CAI w/ an open end (check the pict.). It fits, I'm sure the apex will fit (check the filter size or tubing on your particular Intake). The sound is almost identical. A little different, but pretty much the same as the K&N filter.

i wanted to try one of those.from what i heard they have about a 1 to 2 hp advantage over the other hi end filters like k&n,blitz.
i mix and match filter all the time,i;m back to my aem on aem now but i had an injen on before last service,i like injen filter on aem Intake better.

isnt Apex-i a dry filter as opposed to K&N which uses oil on it... the oil keeps water and dirt out better...

Yep. I just installed my K&N Typhoon CAI, I'll post when I have time.
