Engine Question :)
So i always f*&( around wiht my friend at work and tell him werid S&*^ that im gonna do to my car.

anyways i told him i was gonna "bore" "boar" out my engine. . then i asked him what is the diff between "boring" or "boaring" compared to port and polish?

what is the difference?

does boaring just make the port really big, and port and polish just makes them a little bigger and polish?

port & polish makes the side of walls smoother, so less restriction.

bore means you're making it bigger, like removing some of the side wall.

both should be done by some one who knows what they're doing

ditto v3nom. boring just increases the displacement so you can inject more fuel--which increases horsepower.

but what does the "port" do in the port and polish, cuase as you said the polish makes it smoother, but port.

port means to "make a hole" right?
