how much does an average ticket for a loud ass exhaust cost? and is there anything you have to do besides just pay the ticket? does it go on your record?

I can't speak for cost... but it won't go on your "record". Only moving violations count against your driving record and rating. Same way that parking tickets can't make your insurance go up.

I can't speak for cost... but it won't go on your "record". Only moving violations count against your driving record and rating. Same way that parking tickets can't make your insurance go up. but in some states every violation will make it go up...and up...and up, soon it will be more in fines then the exhaust is worth.

I live in California; and most people know how the cops are out here.
Well I got a ticket for my exhaust when I had my 240sx. It was just a "fix-it" ticket. Which I just had to get my ticket signed off by a cop and pay $10; with nothing on my record.

Well I got a ticket for my exhaust when I had my 240sx. It was just a "fix-it" ticket. Which I just had to get my ticket signed off by a cop and pay $10; with nothing on my record. my friend told me that in washington they dont give "fix it" tickets anymore, so anybody from WA know what will happen? thanks

Don't know if any of you seen it but you can send in outragous tickets you got to Import Tuner and they willpay for it. Like 140mph in a 25, Numerous import violations etc.
