I'm thinking seriously about putting an oil cooler on my celi...I had a 2000 dodge dakota before the celi that I had a custom Turbo setup on, and had an oil cooler, tranny cooler, and fuel cooler...I had the oil cooler put on last and it seemed to help keep things smoother than before it was on...I was thinking about putting an oil cooler on the celica just to help prolong engine life...any input is appreciated thumbsup

not totally true, oil cooler would be a welcome aid no matter what. I'm also considering this, cause it makes the oil stay at it's maximum operating temp. better for engine, especially on hot days, long trips and autoX

that's what I was thinking...it damn sure helped out my dakota ( I also liveed in FL at the time ), so I figure it would help my celi...the only racing I do is track days at road atlanta (F1 circuit style track)

Just don't get anything too big. You might want to check out the later generations of RX-7's oil coolers because they have an internal thermostat.
