VVTL-I LAG!? it pisses me off!

got a toughy for ya guys. K when i punch it hard, and my RPM's rev up to about 5k it holds back and doesnt accelerate, other times at 6K when it kicks in, it will hold back(wont go any faster like a similar V-TEC should) but the RPM's will continue to increase. what the hell? angry does anyone know what this is, how to fix it? obviously i have a GTS and im not running it cold either, so try to help me out, Thanks a lot! thumbsup

ditto the above. technically it's not called lift bolts (so i don't recommend calling a toyota dealership and asking for them).
