If i were to get the 2.0 bore kit with 8.8:1 compression, new vavles, valve springs, camshafts, apr bolts, etc,, wouldnt i be able to easily push more psi of boost into the engine, with no prob, and if so, i would have to make a custom Turbo, since no one manufactures a Turbo for the celi made for more boost, so who would i go too.

that would be hella expensive, you would also need to do a lot of testing on several engines just to get the compression ratio right

bro, I had new pistons, rods, and valve springs put in to my engine (went higher compression, cause I didn't want Turbo tho)...and I know the builder personally...it still cost me almost $2,000 and that was friendly...if you go with new internals plus the fuel maps to stay with the Turbo, plus the ignition retard for the higher boost, plus the Turbo system, plus some other small stuff you're easily looking at like $10,000...if you have the money then go for it...you'll have one wild ass car

as far as after the bore and internals goes, you'll need a Turbo for one, and if you are looking for more boost you may want to look at the Garrett T3/T4 hybrid Turbo's...my last setup had one and they are nice because they spool fast, and build plenty of boost..just be careful, because if you are boring your block remember that the cylinder walls are already really thin...you'll need the piping for the Turbo as far as the Intake, and the intercooler, as well as an intercooler (spearco or HKS), the oil feed lines for the Turbo, the Turbo exhaust manifold (mokeywrenchracing.com makes one for the GT ), a blow off valve, you might have to buy a wastegate for the Turbo (HKS), a boost controller (Greddy always works), better fuel injectors, a bigger fuel pump, and a fuel management system to map the fuel output to the RPM and boost curve, as well as some sort of ignition management unit to retard the ignition timing so when you boost you don't get engine knock...if you get the AEM stand alone engine management system (about $1,500), you could have someone map the fuel curve and do the ignition timing retard all on that unit and not have to buy separate pieces (either way, make sure you have someone with experience in race negines do these maps!!). If you really want to get the most out of your Turbo you may also want to think about dumping your cat, and getting a "black box" so your CEL doesn't come on, and getting a custom downpipe made to replace the cat section as well as somewhat larger piping (probably around 2.75") for the "cat back" area of the exhaust...hope all this helps, and good luck man

stafford fabrications makes a Turbo for the gt and GTS one of our team mates is currently building an engine for this purpose of running higher boost, were planning on running around 12psi on his kit. boost is only relative to the Turbo you use, its meaningless to compare it to other Turboes. If you want high boost and you need high bost to make the power you want then you went with the wrong Turbo. anyways hit up stafford's customer service guru at this email Andrick17@yahoo.comhe'll be happy to answer all your Turbo questions and needs
