i know i know this is a stupid question but you can't blame me for trying. is there such thing as that roof antenna set up like on GT3...if anyone has this game they know what i'm talking about. i heard the s2000 antenna does not fit the 2000GT...so i'm looking to other options
I have seen those being sold in general auto stores. Those roof antennas are nice looking and are actually on the Japan spec Celica's. You can get that, but it drills into the roof, and your going to need it wired from your head unit or whereever that stuff connects to. I think it's too much of a hassle, I mean when do you use the radio? Get XM radio.
Yes the s2000 antenna fits on a 2000 gt I have one Why would you drill a hole in your roof you do realize your gonna have a big ass hole where the old antenna was.
"They don't make no seatbelt for the mind. So I can't buckle up for this ride!"
TRDGTS014 is right, who the hell listens to the radio anyway? I know that I sure don't and yet I still have a huge pole sticking out of the back end of my car...hmmmmm. I'm all about the XM radio and mp3 playing decks. hehe

oh really? because i did a search and some people had trouble fitting it in or screwing it in...but if not then i'll give it a try this week. any special thing you did to keep in in place?
nope.. when i tried it @ first it didn't fit... then i just pushed down hard while twisting and it worked.. just don't over tighten. so far so good... when i compaired threads to my antenna it looked very similar..i've heard of other 00 owners w/ different type of antennas.. if it skrews out it should fit.
It will fit, just be sure to us "loc tite". The problem with the 00's is the hole does not thread all the way to the top, just push down hard and you will catch the last two or three threads on the antena. Use loc tite to be sure it does not come lose or get jacked.
