I know that the TRD exhaust can handle the boost of the Turbo, but can TSRM be used for Turbo GT as well, or is the TRD the only one, if not, which other one can??

both can handle the added exhaust flow associated with a Turbo or s/c ... but neither are optimal.
look into going custom 3 - 3.5 inch piping with the Turbo for best gains.

I wouldn't use the TRD cat-back for a Turbo because of the type of muffler it has. I'd get a custom straight pipe.

well, i dont want to get an exhaust without a muffler, its too loud, so if i have to get an exhaust with a muffler, which one, and if i do custom 3-3 1/2 inch piping, which muffler do i attach it to??

The Turbo will quiet the exhaust down some by itself - all the exhausts out there are designed for NA. If I were going Turbo I would either go custom or Kazuma.

Mine is going to stay NA so I don't have any experience on the celica, but in general Turbos do well with larger pipes (think 3" or so) and as little restriction as possible. The Turbo itself acts like a muffler so you could probably eliminate any resonators and just use a canister at the end with out being really loud.

I think the Apexi exhaust (N1 only for naturally asperated engines for our Celicas) only gives a little compaired to other applications. Check it here... Apexi [ genxmuscle.com] Other exhaust have a larger diameter piping and/or and canister that would be more ideal for Turbo applications. A custom setup might be the way to go with a titanium canister. The larger the better, the straighter the better, NA or Turbo.

I don't know why people keep saying the Stafford GT kit has problems. It is a fully released kit and is a very good kit. As for the exhaust... I highly recommend doing a custom 3" like a few people have suggested. Because of the lack of Turbo systems out for the Celica in the past, all the exhausts in the market has been designed with natural aspiration in mind. As far as sound is concerned, you can get away with having normally loud exhausts setups because the Turbo will absorb most of the sound created by the combustion process. If anyone has questions about the SF Turbo systems, please contact me. SF makes awesome Turbo kits for the GT and GTS. Here is my email address. Andrick17@yahoo.comRichard
