i was just at tires plue the other day when i put my rims on and they told me i dont need an alignment when switching my rims, but when i switched them every time i broke 70 my steering whelel would shake from left to right constantly, does this mean i do need an alignment?
No, it means you need your tires balanced properly.
had em balanced still does that
Take them somewhere else to be balanced.
If your car was out of alignment, you would drift to one side while driving in a straight line. Does that happen? Or is it just the shaking at high speed?
it shakes at high speeds and sometimes will tweak off but to different sides of the road, the guy said that is normal with low pro tires but im concerned mainly about the shaking and what the problem is
Typically, if you're out of alignment you go to one side or the other.. but not both.
