maybe if you disable the DRL's... not sure if that will do it though
it will work but i keep mine functioning due to all the idiot drivers out there. i think of it as a safety issue. but if you're talking about the annoying reverse beep, that's another thing

The reason im concerned is b/c i want to get new lights (mtech) and i don't want them to die in 3-5 months because of the headlights that come on automatically.

resetting the ecu will solve that problem if anyone has it...
the little photocell sensor on the dash,plug it out.but when you do check to see if your airbag light comes on and go off as usual.

Getting a tank of gas fixes this too..
and to get the reverse beep off cut wire 21 on the wihte harness.
