Looks good, but there's no way it will stay that low.

Anyways, it's an auto GTS...That's kind of pointless

manual tranny is not bad in traffic. im in trafic every day. but if youve totally made up your mind, then have fun running 17's instead of 14's wave i just think it is the stupidest choice you could possibly make

hey man go for it, it's your money you're spending so just get what you like. If you don't care much for speed and stuff like that then just go for it, it look very good. Body Kit and stuff. get it if you like it.

My car looks exactly the same as the one that your planning on buying except mine has lower miles and I'm pretty happy with it despite it being an automatic. Just keep in mind, a manual transmission isn't all that. As long as you have the money to invest in your car,you can beat almost anything. Automatics are not as slow as you think just as long as you have the money to throw into it to make it up. Don't let people put you down just because it's an auto. I've seen other automatic 4cylinder Celica's beat the crap out of other manual transmission's at the track.

That looks like mine except mine is 6speed GTS and 03 version. Other than that same color and same options. Here is how it looks like with little mod.

I got mine from local wheel shop. I paid $120 per wheel and tires costs me like $200 a piece. I think I got pretty good deal. I looked around and couldn't find anything close to this price.

I live in Orange County, and drive to Hollywood, Ventura, San Diego on a regular basis. I take the 405, 10, and 101. You cannot find three more congested freeways if you tried. Because of this I got an auto GTS instead of 6 speed. Every time I drive my car, I think that it would have been soo much better as a manual.

Seriously, it's not that much hassle. Even if you are in traffic for a few hours a week holding down the clutch, it's worth it for all those times you won't try to pass someone and think "crap why is my car in 4th gear?". spineyes

Looks Ok to me. It should only go for no more than 15 grand. You should blue book it just to make sure. If you don't reach the reserved price then email the guy and try to work out a price. Ebay cars shouldn't go for that much (20 grand).

Well good luck bidding thumbsup

Um...prolly not dude. I have a manual GT that can smoke the hell out of an auto GTS. And let me tell ya, mine isnt shit at the track. All have is an Intake and exhaust, and still I smoke auto GTS's. I KICK MYSELF IN THE ASS FOR NOT GETTING A MANUAL GTS, BUT I WOULDNT EVEN THINK OF TRADING MY MAN. GT FOR AN AUTO GTS. NO WAY DUDE. YOULL REGRET IT.

because GT engine has more power in the lower rpm's, where the auto tranny keeps you at. and if he doesnt want to go fast, then he might as well save his money, and not get the GTS

Auto GTS pointless waste of money.
Come on get an auto GT and you will save around 5G's
DO youy like Leather seats? NO problem you can have Custom make or get it from some one for $500-1000. Do you like 16" GTS rims ? No problemo get it for $400-600... Do you like to have rear disc brakes? Not a big problem $1000-1500 you can get it. And that is all... When you buying an auto GTS you just buying Leather seats , 16" rims and rear disc brakes ...
for $5000 spineyes thumbsdown thumbsdown thumbsdown...

P.S.REMEMBER HIM! In 2-3 month after he get his Auto GTS he will start asking people about the engine swap: how much and blah blah blah ... My car it's so slow and I'm so $&@$*(& , i got an auto gts... I do not like it any more ..blah blah blah . I hear the same story every month here...
P.P.S. But it's your money... thumbsup

100% untrue... i want the look, not the speed. sure its nice but i'd much rather have an auto and be more comfortable. and like i said before, i never regretted having an auto mustang when everyone told me i would.

I almost got an Auto GTS. Then I realized if I want speed, you gotta go manual. It just took me about a month to fully perfect it, now, I will never drive auto again.

If you do want auto, get it. That car looks great.

the celicas are generally for show, not for speed. Yes, the standards are (much) faster, but that doesn't counter the inadequacies of a FWD vehicle for racing. Give the guy a break, if he wanted a fast car, he'll get an STI or EVO8...
