Heres a keymark from when my brother had it. How much do you think it would cost to fix this?

the two scratches can be buffed out with simple car wax and polish. It'll just take several coats to get the job done. Why is your VIN on your window out inthe open for everyone to see?

The sunroof should be covered under warrenty. The scratches will be a bitch. They will have to repaint the pieces it is on. And with the dent a very ROUGH estimate would be probably 1500.

The scratches are all the way down to the metal. I dont think there is anyway to buff that out.

yea well i can't help some random person keying my car (2nd pic). The 1st key mark was from when my brother had it, some mexican was pissed because he couldnt merge in front of my brother. He gave him a dirty look when they got out of their cars and when he came back that night, it was keyed! As for that dent, there was a car parked to my left, in front of me, and behind me, so i had to reverse to the right and arouynd the car behind me. Fuken S-10 didnt have no dent angry but my cars left with a dent the size of my fist!

the Ding King does work well for the money. I've used it on my buddy's car. It should get that dent popped out, won't look perfect but better than that. You can get it at Walmart or a store like that.

thats how they do it sometimes guys.some dealers request it.
its like that to prevent the car from being stolen for parts.when a car gets stolen and it has vin numbers on everything, its kinda useless and its a deterent cause thieves dont go for cars with vin number etched in the parts thumbsup

true, trying to fix the dent yourself could cause more damage or result in an uneven job

My sunroof was peeling too, it's covered under warranty 'cuz mine got replaced for free.

The ding king is probably a paper weight so don't waste your money on it.

with the side door ding you can pull back the plastic and push a lot of it out with your hand or fist! that sucks about the other stuff though!!!

yea it does. i hate riding around with these marks on my car, but i dont have the $ to fix all them (rather buy mods). I took it to the dealership when i 1st got the dent and the guy put a suction cup on it and pulled out the other 2 dents that were around it (cant tell, can you grin) i was thinking in my head...ok now go ahead and pull out the other one. I guess ill try and somehow pop this bad-boy out...either dent king or by hand, which i prefer. How can i get behind the door to do it though?

its scary that most of your people dont know what
vin etching is. if you have comprehensive coverage on your vehicle.. which most of you should have if your vehicle is new or used.. this coverage protects you against "fire, theft and vandalism" and in most states.. if you have vin etching.. where every window has your vin, you may receive a discount on your auto insurance. check with your insurance company to see if the discount applies. here in NY.. vin etching is a 5% discount off your comprehensive coverage. and dealers dont request vin etching.. they usually add it to your car.. and charge you hundreds of dollars for it.. or put it on ur car.. and calculate it into your price. most police precincts do the vin etching for FREE. vin etching is not required for any state but it does help in cracking down on auto theft.. and it may even deter thieves, because if they see the vin etching.. its much harder to sell those parts or the car itself with the vin on there already. spineyes spineyes

The sunroof will be covered under warranty for sure. The rest of it, though, you really need to get fixed. Takes away from your nice new celica
